Final call for entries for the Test Valley Business Awards
Your chance to win a celebrated Test Valley Business Award ends when entry closes on Thursday, 31 December 2009. You could shine as a winner at the impressive Gala Awards ceremony and dinner on Thursday 15 April 2010 at the luxurious Officers Mess, Marlborough Lines Andover, as did Claire Carter of Blumarine last year (pictured). Blumarine - Ship Outfitting and Refurbishment specialists - won the Small Business Award last year and are so impressed with the prestige and publicity gained they have entered again this year.
Craig McCoo, Blumarine’s Managing Director, enthuses: “Winning a Test Valley Business Award gives recognition of achievement and success to the business. We are entering for the new Export Award, as much of our business falls into this category, but then we’d also like to be named as Employer of the Year, so perhaps we’ll try for both! Our Award last year has raised lots of interest with our clients in the UK and abroad and has been a great talking point and a way of breaking the ice with potential clients.”
The two brand-new Awards this year are:
• Exporter of the Year – Trade & Investment, South East
• Employer of the Year - Simplyhealth
The three other Awards are:
• Innovation & Technology – University of Southampton Science Park
• New Business of the Year – Test Valley Borough Council
• Small Business of the Year – Hampshire County Council.
With the prospect of an economic recovery on the horizon now is an ideal time to enter for an Award - it is free and entering online simply takes a few minutes.
