Test Valley Business Awards are now open - Win a valuable Early Entry Prize
Get your Test Valley Business Awards entry in early – by Friday 4 December 2009 - and you could be the lucky winner of a valuable business prize. You could win an annual membership to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) worth up to £350, plus a range of additional personal and business related member benefits.

Business of the Year Award - Test Valley Borough Council
This Award is sponsored, for the sixth year, by Test Valley Borough Council’s Economic Development Office, which is committed to helping fledgling businesses to get off the ground at their crucial start-up period, with a comprehensive programme of advice, grants and support. Exporter of the Year Award - UK Trade & Investment South East (UKTI)
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the Government organisation supporting UK companies trading internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to locate in the UK.
They offer new and experienced exporters free tailored, impartial advice on winning business overseas. They combine the skills of 38 private sector, International Trade Advisers with the national resources of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, plus have a global network of UK trade development officers.
Employer of the year award – Simplyhealth
Previously known as HSA, BCWA, HealthSure, LHF and Totally Active, this family of organisations have joined together to form Simplyhealth. For nearly 140 years they have been helping people access healthcare and that’s because they think health is the most important thing of all. Innovation & Technology Award - University of Southampton Science Park
The University of Southampton Science Park provides high quality office and lab space. It is situated on an appealing rural site, with close proximity to major transport routes and Southampton University. Primarily formed to support early stage technology businesses, the Science Park now accommodates over 60 companies of various sizes including world leaders such as Vantia Therapeutics, Cisco Systems and Merck Chemicals.
Small Business of the Year Award - Hampshire County Council
This Award has proved a very popular category with entrants in the past five years. The County Council’s aim is to help small businesses to grow by recognising, encouraging and rewarding top-class business performance.
