Our role in policy and representation

A core aim of the Chamber is to influence government decision makers and shape policy. Using our surveys, reports, local area committees and consultations we provide business opinions on issues such as transport, regulation, skills and tax.

We are the independent voice of business for North Hampshire and we give our members the chance to be heard and the opportunity to influence. Keeping the interests of businesses uppermost in the minds of principal leaders, our lobbying influences the agendas of local and regional authorities.

As part of Hampshire Chambers (www.hampshirechambers.co.uk ) our combined resources and expertise provide a stronger voice for the businesses of Hampshire cementing our position as the organisation that delivers to all levels of the Hampshire business community.

Hampshire Chambers is also the natural vehicle for engaging the key stakeholders in Hampshire One of the major strengths of Hampshire Chambers of Commerce is the level of engagement and influence already present with the region's major stakeholders. We have seats at the table of all key decision makers, policy makers and influencers making sure the business voice is clearly heard.
